Version 6.3.2 fixed some problems with Edit, Rotate Charts.
Version 6.3.3 added at the bottom of the Rotate Charts form some radio buttons to indicate and change the Auto Increment Amount and Direction. This is for users who may not have read the documentation, who do not know that the program memorizes whatever was the last used increment amount, either Year, Month, Day, Hour, Minute, Second, MC Sign, Degree, Minute, Second, Ascendant Sign, Degree, Minute, or Second, as well as the last used backward or forward spin button. The increment amount and direction in effect when one clicks on the Auto button for automatic animation of the chartwheel will now be evident and more easily controlled.
Version 6.3.3 also added an Auto Redraw checkbox to the Rotate form. When this box is checked, changing a time or angle value with its corresponding spin button will automatically redraw the chartwheel, allowing one to keep the mouse cursor on the spin button and see the resulting positions without having to move back and forth to and from the Redraw button.
Version 6.3.4 fixed a problem with the Declination Synastry table showing the wrong values. This problem got introduced with the version 6.3 multi-wheel aspect tables that can include declination. This minor version also added to the Display menu an option for a pop-up bar graph display of planetary strengths for the single wheel and the biwheel. This pop-up graph will remain on the screen and show the changing strengths during Auto animation from Edit, Rotate Chart. The program adds all the aspects involving each planet in order to calculate the bar graph of planetary strengths.
Version 6.3.5 extended the Planet Strengths form to include the triwheel and quadwheel charts.
Version 6.3.6 fixed a problem with the Declination Aspects table showing the wrong values, this time for progressed charts. The table was showing the synastry parallels to the natal chart, even for the single progressed wheel. This minor version also fixed a problem with the Multi-Wheel Aspects List when the Customization, Miscellaneous Preferences option to add parallels to the lists is turned on, in which planets were shown parallel to themselves for the three lists, Inner Middle to Inner Middle, Outer Middle to Outer Middle, and Outer to Outer. Both of these problems could have affected the graph of Planet Strengths, although in the case of the latter problem, the relative strengths of the planets were correct, it was just the size of the harmony sections that would have been exaggerated. Also fixed a problem in which the declination parallels were not contributing to the Planet Strengths graph for a single chart. Fixed two problems with the northern edge of the Canada map display.
Version 6.3.7 fixed a problem with the Declination Synastry table showing the wrong values for progressed charts. Also, the program was not using the natal aspect orbs when the user double-clicked on a planet glyph in the inner natal wheel for a progressed chart biwheel. The aspect orb widths were correct when double-clicking to see aspects in triple and quad wheels, but needed greater specification as to the type or category of chart when using aspect orbs for biwheels.
Version 6.3.8 fixed more problems with the Single Planet aspects window not using the custom aspect orbs set for that category of chart on biwheel charts.
Version 6.3.9 improved the appearance of the Planet Strengths bar graph. Fixed a problem involving which set of aspect orbs the Planet Strengths used for part of the triple wheel. Found and fixed a problem in which declination aspects to the planets' own positions could appear in the Planet Strengths table for a progressed single wheel or biwheel. Fixed a triple wheel problem in which Display, Middle to Natal, was not comparing the correct two charts.
Version 6.3.10 switched to a new formula for calculating the average height of the bars in the Planet Strengths bar graph. The previous formula was not allowing for widely varying strengths due to user customization of the aspect orbs. Also increased the array sizes to allow for all possible 24 progressed aspects being set to a wide orb of three degrees. The strengths calculated for a quad wheel can now come from as many as 600 different aspects. Modified the color contrast routine to make light gray the color that contrasts to black, instead of white, which was not showing up as a bar against the white background of the Planet Strengths form.
Version 6.3.11 further increased the array sizes for the Planet Strengths bar graph to 600 aspects, with 800 aspects allowed for a quad wheel.
Version 6.3.12 modified the reportwriting engine to handle insertion of Moon/Ascendant combo interpretations in the body of Sun/Moon combo interpretations, a feature of the new set of KidZone child natal interpretations, which includes an additional 300 pages of text devoted to combo interpretations.
Version 6.3.12 fixed a problem drawing the aspect symbol colors under Windows XP.
Version 6.3.12 fixed problems with the logic for doing composite and combined interpretation reports, both for the report header and for including aspect interpretations in the body of the report.
Version 6.3.13 fixed a problem in which the child's first name was not being inserted into the Moon/Ascendant combos in the expanded child interpretations.
Version 6.3.14 added to the natal reportwriter the ability to substitute an interpretation for the Moon/Decan combination when a Moon/Ascendant combination would not be inserted, either because the Ascendant is the same as the Sun sign or because due to an unknown time of birth the Ascendant is unknown. The program will only insert the Moon/Decan combination if the native's Sun is in the second or third decan of the Sun sign, since the first decan is the same sign as the Sun sign itself. This feature will be active in the new expanded KidZone with Sun/Moon combo interpretations, but could be part of other natal reports in the future.
Version 6.3.14 fixes a problem with the PC Atlas lookup for return charts when the location city has a duplicate name and is not the primary instance of that city name. If the city is a duplicate, the program will now append the county name to the city name after a PC Atlas lookup from the Return Info form. This causes the return chart to be calculated for the desired city.
Version 6.3.15 enables the declination aspects to be included in the list of aspects on which the interpretation report draws, if 'Sort Parallels into Aspect Lists' at Customization, Miscellaneous Preferences, is turned on. The immediate effect will be to include parallel and contraparallel aspects in the calculation of planet strengths in the DoDominantPlanets calculations, which are part of the Career and KidZone reports.
Version 6.3.16 corrects the numerical strengths that appear in a natal interpretation report to all be positive numbers. When I added the planet strengths bar graph feature, the strength numbers on the natal report began appearing as either positive or negative.
Version 6.3.17 fixed a reportwriter problem in which when the Delineation Heading document part at Interpret, Report Options was set to a Justification of Center, the format was not being reflected in reports.
Version 6.3.18 added the choice Sort by Planets to the bottom of the grid when the aspects list has been sorted by orb. So the caption on the button underneath the aspects list will toggle between saying Sort by Orbs and Sort by Planets. This was made necessary by the new option at Customization, Miscellaneous Preferences, where the program can be told to sort declination parallel and contraparallel aspects into the zodiacal aspects list. When this preference is turned on, when the user selects Display, Aspects List, the program automatically sorts the different types of aspects together by orb. There was no way from the Chart Information screen or the Display menu to sort the aspects list by planet order. The toggle button which now supplies this will also work for the Multi-Wheel Aspects list, available when a triple wheel or quad wheel is on the screen. The preference to sort the declination aspects into the aspect lists should not have been the default for a new version 6.3 user - this minor version corrects that.
Version 6.3.19 added a Sort button underneath the Display table grid for Planet to House Aspects. The table initially displays in planet order - the button will sort this table of aspects to the house cusps first by House and then by Orb.
Version 6.3.19 also fixed small problems with the Applying and Separating tags in the Direction column of the different Planet to House Aspects tables. The program will always show these tags for a single wheel, but now will only show them for a biwheel comparison if the natal chart has been compared to a Current Transits chart or to a progressed or return chart. It does not make sense to speak of Applying or Separating when it is just the houses of one person's chart that are being compared to the planets of another person's chart.
Version 6.3.19 appends the complete date and time after #2: "Current Transits" when one has done a biwheel comparison. This will be both on the screen and on the printed page of comparison aspect tables.
Version 6.3.20 fixes a problem calculating the Ascendant and Midheaven positions in the Secondary Progressions middle chart when one generates a triple wheel using the new Compare to Majors option on the Chart Information screen File menu after one has created a Minor Progressions biwheel and one is using a Naibod MC, either the R.A.M.S. or the Naibod in Longitude amount for the directed midheaven. This problem did not surface before because most astrologers are using the Solar Arc method for the directed midheaven.
Version 6.3.21 fixes a problem that has always been present with Edit, Rotate Chart. If one rotated the Graphic Aspects wheel, cancelled the rotation, then displayed the normal chart wheel, and then tried to rotate the normal chart, the program would instead show and rotate the Graphic Aspects wheel again.
Version 6.3.21 also ensures that the Astro Clock can be done for whatever location is entered at the Natal Information Screen, even if that location is different from the astrologer's location saved in User Information. To watch the aspects forming in real time as you watch a televised sporting event occurring in another city, including Ascendant and Midheaven aspects, keep on the Natal Information screen the time zone for your computer clock and just relocate the longitude and latitude to be that for the city of the event. You can do that by first clicking on Here & Now and then clicking on the PC Atlas Express, selecting the distant city, NOT clicking on Read Atlas, and clicking TWICE on the Transfer to Natal button. Then calculate the chart, select Display, Graphic Aspects if desired, select Edit, Rotate/Rectify Chart, Auto, and click on the checkbox for Astro Clock.
Version 6.3.22 adds code to support a new Parent-Child compatibility report. The report will draw on two separate *.hsm interpretation files, ending with *y.hsm or *yc.hsm for Youth and *a.hsm or *ac.hsm for Adult.
Version 6.3.22 fixes a problem that could happen if the user Quick Displays an old chart record saved with version 1 of AstrolDeluxe for Windows, prior to the addition of asteroid declinations to the saved chart record. For such a record, with the Miscellaneous Preferences choice to 'Sort Parallels into Aspect Lists' turned on, when the user double-clicks on an asteroid glyph in the chart wheel, the displayed single planet aspects list was displaying after the normal zodiacal aspects for the asteroid, all the parallels for that chart, not parallels for the asteroid. To see any declination parallels for asteroids, the user should Calculate the old saved chart instead of Quick Displaying it, or the user should update the chart record's information by clicking on Calculate and then on Save.
Version 6.3.22 fixes a problem that caused declination parallel and contraparallel aspects for a natal chart to use the orbs set for synastry declination aspects.
Version 6.3.23 fixes a problem displaying the West Siberian time zone name.
Version 6.3.23 fixes a problem where the grid toggle bar appeared on the Chart Information screen in the wrong place after generating and closing a solar return report.
Version 6.3.23 adds the ability to automatically select the gender correct pronoun in text of an interpretation report. Pronoun options must be separated with two caret characters, as for example, he^^she or his^^her. The male pronoun must be on the left and the female pronoun on the right.
Version 6.3.23 adds a natal report command that the program user can insert into a report template to use major aspect interpretations to interpret minor aspects, such as using the square interpretations for missing 45-degree semi-square or 135-degree sesquiquadrate aspect interpretations, or using the trine interpretations for missing 60-degree sextile or 30-degree semi-sextile interpretations. This command is called SubstituteMajorForMinorAspects. The associated commands, MinorSubLanguage1 and MinorSubLanguage2, are only for reports that are written in a non-English language. The SubstituteMajorForMinorAspects command must precede the DoAspectsStrengthSorted command in the report order section of the Standard template or precede any of the DoPointAspects commands in the Intermediate templates.
Version 6.3.23 also adds a natal report command that the user can insert into a report template to use 60-degree sextile aspect interpretations to interpret missing 72-degree quintile aspect or biquintile aspect interpretations. This command is called SubstituteSextileForQuintileAspects. The associated command, QuintileLanguage3, is only for reports that are written in a non-English language. The SubstituteSextileForQuintileAspects command must precede the DoAspectsStrengthSorted command in the report order section of the Standard template or the DoPointAspects commands in the Intermediate templates.
Version 6.3.24 fixed a problem that sometimes occurred when calculating the planetary hour ruler found at Display, Chart Analysis.
